For those of you who know and want an update, here you go. For those of you who have no idea what i’m talking about, well here ya go.

My dad is about to become my mom.

My father is 46 years old and getting a sex change operation in a few years. He’s been a cross dresser for the past 33 years at least, and is finally coming out to his parents today. He starts hormones any time now, so he will physically start to change. 

My dad is NOT gay, that’s not why he’s doing this. My whole family at this point has been very supportive so we’ll see how his parents do. 

I’m fine with it at this point, but my mom is taking it harder than anyone anticipated and that’s where i’m leaving it with her story. 

I’m proud of my dad for finally doing what he wants and i’m proud of my supportive family and friends.

If anyone has any questions i’m happy to answer what i can, and if anyone doesn’t want to really be associated with me because of this then that’s your own fucking problem.
