Who knew a life of crime could look so good! These newly-discovered mugshots of Australian criminals from the early 1900s were taken just before the thugs were booked. If you ask us, the shots are definitely more “Esquire” than “WANTED” poster.
I seriously love this era, every single man wore a suit, tie and hat. They looked fucking good even if they were as poor as beggars. I want to know what happened to that. Not that the types of styles i enjoy looking at aren’t classy or pretty, but this, THIS is true class. Doesn’t matter that most of these guys were mob and robbers, they were the definition of classy looks, and honestly, i’m disappointed that we’ve strayed so far away from this. I feel so cheated by being born in this time period, i really do.
